Once upon a time...
Maggie Hale grew up an avid sports fan, raised by a dad who spent his free time watching 'Pardon the Interruption', and a mom who screamed the loudest in the stands of Amon G. Carter Stadium. A lover of volleyball, cheer, cross country, and a mediocre basketball player until an April afternoon when her life was forever changed. Maggie suffered a double compound fracture in her arm, and spent a week in the hospital. Suddenly, sports were out of the picture and Maggie was left to pivot.
Unable to give up on sports, Maggie found the world of Sports journalism. Ever since that day Maggie has been pursuing a career as a sports journalist with aspirations to report on the biggest sporting events in the world. The perseverance and determination shown after her accident is an indicator into the immense drive that Maggie has to make her dreams a reality.
